About Our Compression Molded Nose Cones.
Compression molding is not necessarily a new concept, but our innovative process in composites, designed by an aerospace engineer, has taken the strength of fiberglass to a new level. The cone itself is a very strong single unit, and is highly compressed to get the maximum density and rigidity using the best epoxies and fiberglass available. Add to that, a stepped aluminum tip that eliminates “side slip” and you have one of the smoothest, strongest, most reliable nose cones in sport rocketry today!
